Meet Our Mates: The People We Trust With Your Pets
We get asked all the time - "Who do you recommend for training?" or "My dog's got skin issues, who should I see?" Lucky for you, Cowra's packed with brilliant people who love pets as much as we do. Here are our go-to mates when you need more than just good food.
-
Pauline Gill - Tapua Labradors, Dog trainer Woodstock NSW
Pauline's been sorting out naughty dogs longer than we've been in business! Got a pup who thinks your couch is a chew toy? A rescue who's still learning the ropes? Pauline's your woman. She's got this amazing way of reading dogs and helping owners understand what their pets are actually trying to say.
We've sent loads of customers to Pauline, especially when they're starting raw feeding and want their dogs focused during training. She always says the same thing - "Good behaviour deserves good treats," which is why she loves our kangaroo jerky and liver treats. Dogs go absolutely mental for them!
Give us a call or ask in store for contact details or about her next Puppy Class.

Jacki Oates -Animal Nutritionist and Lenny's Kitchen Ambassador.
If your just starting out with a puppy or kitten and want to give your pet the best chance of a healthy diet, Jacki's the one for you. If you have an older dog who has become picky jacki will help you and getting them back on track to eating well.
She's the one who helped us understand which proteins work best for sensitive pets - that's why we stock so much kangaroo and goat. Jacky always jokes that she's sent us more customers than anyone else because once pets feel better on the right diet, owners become raw feeding converts!
Jacki's worth her weight in gold. Mention you're one of our customers - she knows our products inside out.

The Team at Central Veterinary Services Cowra
Our veterinary mates
These guys have been recommending us to their clients for ages, and we send people their way all the time. It's a proper two-way street - they handle the medical stuff, we handle the nutrition, and between us, Cowra's pets are pretty well looked after.
-
The Dog Spot
Grooming and TLC
The Dog Spot does has a salon right here in town up on Grenfell Road. We love sending customers there because they always comment on how much better the coats look once dogs are on raw food. It's like getting a double win - great nutrition from us, professional pampering from them.
They're also fantastic with nervous dogs, big and older pets who need extra gentle handling.
-
Tara at Well Balanced Pets -Our Massage Therapy Friend
For the oldies and the athletes
We've got this amazing dog massage therapist we recommend for older dogs or working dogs who need some extra care. Perfect for those pets on our senior nutrition plans who could use some joint relief and relaxation or post surgery support like our dog Ella after knee surgery Tara came to our home and worked on her.
The combination of good nutrition and therapeutic touch works wonders for aging pets. Find her on facebook or ask us to pass on her details.

Donna - Madra Manners
Group Classes & One-on-One Training
Donna's our go-to for working breeds - cattle dogs, kelpies, border collies, the lot. She gets that these clever dogs need mental challenges or they'll create their own (usually involving your garden or furniture!). Whether it's group classes or one-on-one sessions, she knows how to channel all that intelligence and energy into something useful instead of destructive.
Got a working breed driving you mad? Or any type of dog then you need to give Donna a call 0423783808- tell her we sent you!
Why We Love Our Network
Look, we could try to be everything to everyone, but honestly? We'd rather be really good at what we do - providing top-notch food - and connect you with other locals who are brilliant at their thing. And there is many more we can chat to you about when your next in store.
When you shop with us, you're not just getting great pet food. You're tapping into a whole network of Cowra people who genuinely care about pets and know their stuff.
Need a referral? Just ask - we're always happy to point you toward the right person for your pet's needs.

Nose to Tail philosophy
Why we do it ...
Nose-to-tail is an approach to consuming animals that says if an animal sacrifices its life for our food chain, we should respect it enough to consume every part, and not allow any to be wasted.
Feral animals have become a major agricultural and environmental problem, struggling Aussie farmers welcome the use of these animals in pet and human food products to help lessen the numbers.
